Do not ever buy anything from "ManjaTech". Hopeless service with no professionalism. They sent be a used toy and on top charged 50% restocking fee when I returned the product. Refund was don almost a month later after several reminders.


The screen is so dark I am worried it is going to damage my daughter's eyes. I would not recommend it. It is unusable due to dark screen (it is not back-lit and the contrast adjusment does not help).


I purchase this toy for my little brother, and he seems to love it very much. He wants to carry it everywhere he's going, which makes me know that it is a very good buy.


I do wish the screen was larger and in color, but I got a really good deal through amazon pricewise and it is definitely worth what I paid, but not much more. Mine was supposed to be new, but it appears to be "gently used" even though it shipped from amazon.com directly.

I like the laptop appearance, it looks very nice. The detachable part is nice but I wish there was some sort of parent key so that your child couldn't go detaching as they pleased. The touch screen is nice, especially considering in the future everything will be touch screens. There are many many activities...I am a little concerned he may find a few he likes and ignore others....but the variety is good also.

Overall I think it will be excellent for my nephew who will be 8 and has ADHD. Since he is very smart but has that lack of focus, these products work so well with holding his interest better. I also work with him but sometimes it can be frustrating and this is nice that he can learn on his own now. BUT...I can tell you though if I had got it when I was 8 I would have looked at my mom crosswise. Do NOT get this if you have an advanced gifted child because they will run through it in a manner of days and then be bored. Think of your child's mental age and not physical age. it does lean a bit on the simplistic side....

It is an excellent learning tool for these fidgety hyperactive types who need to play and learn at the same time. I do not get my nephew video games; everything I get is educational and he does well with his grades now. Same with TV products. V Tech has really helped him turn around from being 5 years old and unable to read or count at all to getting a complicated math question the teacher put on the board that no one else could get. Thank you!


Santa Claus outdid himself this year...for only $[...]! This 'computer' is great- it does everything! It even has a word processor that can hook up to our computer or printer. My daughter is 7 1/2 and already good at 'real' computers so her computer teacher suggested we go with the one for the oldest age range. I'm glad we did. There are so many learning games on this computer-over 100 (and each gets progressively harder as needed) that she won't outgrow this for a long time. It has science, Spanish, math and logic,geography,social studies,a creative studio,and some 'cool tools' like an alarm clock, phone book,and jokes to name a few. It looks just like a real laptop...same size/color etc.. so in her mind it is a 'real' computer and not a baby toy that will be cast aside.


My child loves this item and had wanted one for a long time. He was very excited to receive it for Christmas. I only wish it had come with an adaptor or wish the adaptor had been available when I purchased it (on back order until February). All in all, great product for the money.


There are not many educational toys out there for 9 yr olds. I purchased the Touch Tablet for my 9yr old Twin boys and they love it.

I am learning as well. They are constantly asking me the questions that are posed to them, to see if Mom knows. I highly recommend this because it teaches them about geography, spanish and much more.


This gift was given to a thirteen year old as a Christmas gift. He played with exclusively for three day. Now he plays with it off and on. But, that is probably because it learns with him and becomes more difficult as he advances in his knowledge. This product does not promote violence but, it does encourage interaction and creativity.


My 9 year old daughter received this laptop for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. It is just like an actual laptop and you can hook it up to your pc and print documents. This learning tool has helped her with math, reading comprehension, and english. I highly recommend this for any child as a learning tool, not just a toy. They think of it as a toy, but they are actually learning as they play with it.
