I use to move from meeting to meeting and travel at least six times per year. I was looking for a computer product with light weight, portability, enough ram and disk capacity, and of course a great price. This HP mini gave me all that I need.

Great product, very solid and great design. I did buy two units for my teenagers and just love it. Just once my son had to restore the entire Operating System but no more than 30 minutes and ready again to fly.
Just a bit slow sometimes, even with 2 MB RAM Vista takes a lot of resources, but other than that they just love the portability. Highly recommended. I have been using HP product all my life and will continue to do so.

This computer is great for traveling and schoolwork. The processor is a bit slow for other stuff and if I didn't have another computer I would be disappointed.

I had looked around almost everywhere for a good netbook for my girlfriend who wanted one for the price she wanted to pay and with the right specs for her needs. She bought it to use mainly to go online with instead of a larger laptop, which can be a bit bulky and heavy to haul around. She also got it to be able to sink with her new iPod and mp3s she has. The only drawback that I saw with this purchase is that it did not come preinstalled with internet security software at all. The only security software that was on it was Windows Defender which comes with Windows Vista anyway, which is only spyware detection and removal software which is not enough protection for the netbook to go online with it. The internet security software is not a problem for me because I already have internet security software put on it anyway. I have looked at netbook cases for this size netbook but all I could find is sleeves which is fine if you want to protect it to put it in a bigger bag. I am looking to get a 10" portable DVD player case instead for this netbook because it will be padded well and have more pockets and space to put the netbook and the power supply cable, and a portable HDD for extra storage and maybe a few other things she would need with it. We are also going to eventually look for an extended life battery for the netbook so it can run longer than the 3 cell battery that came with it.
