I don't come from a background of good speakers. Before this, I just had 2 little PC speakers that didn't produce enough sound to hear across the room.

I'm not used to the amount of bass this thing produces. I'm hearing parts of songs I've never heard before. It's amazing!

I wish some of the cords were a little longer, but other than that, these are spectacular


Setting up these speakers to my computer was so easy I rechecked everything just to make sure. I love the fact that the pod allows me to change the way I want to hear a song, more voice or more instruments. I thought heavy metal was just noise but once I put those songs on gaming mode I couldnt believe just how much heart and soul they put into each song. The low sounding bass on Rap songs sounded perfect, but remember, they are "Quality" Sound Speakers, meaning, the sound you get in your car is not the same sound you want with these speakers. Close your eyes and these speakers will just blow your mind. Its like the instruments are blanketing your whole body. Unlike what I heard, the speaker wires are long enough. You should have them at the level your ears are, not 15ft. away up on the ceiling, and evenly placed around you or you wont get every instrument sound. I paid about $60 less here at Amazon than anywhere else. I consider the price I paid a steal. Trust me...you will be amazed.

I was considering the Razer Mako 2.1 THX speakers to replace my now bad pair of Klipsch 2.1 THX, but considering the price of the Razers, and after reading some of the reviews for these, I decided on the Logitech G51 series instead. All I can say is I am incredibly happy with my decision. If I had to do it over again and money weren't a consideration, I would still go with these speakers. They are solid, sturdy, speaker wires are thick, everything is great looking and sounding, and the subwoofer is good sized, cool looking, and produces great bass. The separate control system is awesome, almost every speaker system I've had, the first thing to go is the volume on the control speaker, that won't be a problem this time! Also if you get these, remember to set your pc for 5.1 speakers, and have the matrix mode on in either music or gaming mode if your only using a 2.1 sound card or onboard hd audio so you get the sound from all of the speakers. Overall great speakers, highly recommend!


When i bought this I thought it was for a tv entertainment system and when I received it I found out that it's for PC's. Don't make the same mistake that I did! I believe that its a great system but it was my screw up. I'm glad to say that I got all my money back even though it was my mistake.


I got this to enhance the sound effects from Windows video games. The sound is great and having sounds come from behind increases the immersion in the games that are programmed to take advantage of this. You need to have a sound card that has at least 3 output jacks for the sound (front, center/sub, and rear) to fully use this product. There is also an AUX jack for connecting an ipod or other sound device. I agree that music doesn't sound as good and the vocals are washed out a bit. But for most purposes and most people, you can't beat this set of speakers for sound quality at the price. There was a $[...] rebate when I bought them.

I have always liked logitech products and bought the logitech g51 online from amazon. I liked the product overall, the sound output could be improved significantly - but for the price you pay it is still good. I dont like the fact that I am not able to connect other devices such as TV's etc to the system to really utilize the suround sound concept - hint - this is a PC system. Overall good bang for the buck if your looking for only a PC solution - I am still a buyer of Logitech products.

I bought this off Amazon and it was on my doorstep in 2 days. This is insanely fast shipping considering that I only paid for standard shipping.

Setup was a breeze since all the jacks are color coded. I didn't even need the instructions. I plugged everything straight onto my onboard surround sound and everything worked like magic. I had to setup my sound configuration to support 5.1 surround sound but that was no hassle at all.

These speakers are plenty loud even when the volume is set to 2 or 3. I love the way the control pod can control almost every aspect separately. Master controls all the speakers and subwoofer. Subwoofer obviously controls just the subwoofer. Surround controls the rear speakers. Center controls the center, which is great for making dialogue louder in 5.1 movies and games. The pod also has power, speaker mute, mic mute and matrix buttons. It also has jacks for headphones and a mic for easy access.

The only big con I can think of is the Matrix mode. It is supposed convert regular stereo sound into 5.1 sound. Gaming mode makes the rear speakers much louder than the front so you can hear footsteps coming from behind. Music mode makes all the speakers the same volume. Matrix mode is really hit or miss. Overall it did a good job in converting some of my 2.0 stereo DVDs with the gaming matrix mode on.I can distinctly hear off-screen voices coming from my rear speakers and on-screen voices come from my front speakers.

However, if I put in a DVD that supports 5.1 and turn on either Matrix mode, then absolutely no dialogue can be heard. It is like it completely erased the center channel. If I play a game with 5.1 with Matrix mode on, then dialogue is still audible but it is much more faint especially in online games that support voice chat.If my movie or game supports 5.1 then I always leave Matrix mode off as it sounds the most natural and have the least amount of issues.

Other than the hit or miss Matrix mode, this is a great sounding set of PC speakers. It has got some thunderous bass, great mids, and decent highs even though these speakers don't have tweeters. For $129.99 shipped, this was a bargain. Include a $40 MIR, then it is a steal. Get in shipped to my door in 2 days makes this one of best purchases I've ever made


No podia creer lo que veia cuando lo saque de la caja. Este equipo de sonido envolvente supero totalmente mis espectativas. Suena muy bien, los controles estan siempre a la mano como si se tuviese el mando de un televisor y en apariencia es muy elegante y vistoso a la vez. Me encanto ver la forma en que los cables estan diferenciados por colores lo que impide que haya una mala conexion. La desventaja: Hay que tener cuidado al tomar el subwofer para moverlo, porque al tener el parlante abajo y sin proteccion, se corre el riesgo de perforarlo con los dedos.
