Santa gave my 5 year old daughter this for christmas and she hasn't stopped playing with it. Her brother who is 11 years old rides on it too, and it's pink! His friends came over for a sleepover and they all loved it! They are fighting about who can ride it all the time! I think it is time to buy a second one!

These are awesome toys! We bought two, one for an 11 year old and one for a 7 year old. Everyone argues over who rides them next! The 2 year old can go as fast as the 25 year old. Thrilled with this purchase!! Would highly recommend to everyone!

My girls love ridding on these cars and they were so excited. You have to have at least two because even an adult can ride on them.

Lots of Fun.

Although ws dreaded putting this together, it was a breeze (once we figured out the tool provided for t ghtening was too large in one of the two cars we bought. I have never given a more successful gift for sister(6) and brother (3) team.

I bought this for my grand-daughter for her 4th birthday and she adores it. It was a great price and worth every bit.

Fun for ALL ages! My daughter got this for her 5th birthday and it is a HUGE hit. I also have a seven year old son who doesn't even care that he's riding on a pink car.

I know it has gotten a couple bum reviews, but let me tell you about our experience with it. This car basically runs on kinetic energy. You have to wiggle the steering wheel back and forth and the motion gets it going. We've had it on a variety of hard surfaces including pavement (most difficult place to get it to go), pergo, tile, and cement and it's been fun. My kids have no problems zooming around from surface to surface except for asphalt. Like I said, asphalt is difficult to ride it on, but not impossible. It's VERY important to get the screw for the steering wheel in correctly and tightly for optimum car performance.

I will also admit to riding on the thing and really having a great time. It's part ride on kiddie car and part Disneyland, in my opinion. Once you get it going, zooming around while going back and forth reminds me of being on some of the track rides at the theme park (obviously in a scaled down version). That fun wooshy feeling is there (albeit, a slower woosh than theme park rides, unless you are going down a hill, which is not recommended by the manufacturer, probably due to our overtly litigious society). It's also a really good work out for your arms. I think I am starting to loose some of that jiggle that sets in after thirty. Ha ha!

If you are looking for something that is going to do all the work for you, this probably isn't the toy for you. But if you have a reasonable expanse of hard flooring, driveway, and/or sidewalks and you want your kids to actually have to do something other than press a button to go, I recommend PlasmaCar. Now I just have to order one in a "boy" color so the kids will stop fighting over it. Okay, and I MIGHT get one for me. :)

It's amazing how this little car manages to move without pedals. Just turning the wheels gives it momentum. My grandchildren love it.

We have two plasma cars, and we will be buying two more. I thought my four children could share, but no one wants to get off! I've taken a spin on the car, and they are fun to drive. You do have to tighten the steering wheel down tight to get the car to function properly. I can even zoom around with my two year old sitting with me. He also likes to just push it around with his feet. Fun for the whole family!

My 6 year old grandson got one for this past Christmas. His 8 year old brother really liked it and used some of his Christmas money to purchase one. Then his 4 year old sister wanted one for her birthday. So now there are 3 of them and the kids are having great fun with them. They ride them on their tile floor in their home and outside on the sidewalk. There is even a 2 1/2 year old who has no problem making them go. I don't know if the car has been improved since the August 2007 review, but my grandkids have had no problems getting the cars to go fast. It amazes me how they can turn them on a dime and totally miss the walls in the house. Sometimes the boys will give the girls rides and even with the extra body on it, the thing really goes.
